Background:

The school was established on the 12th day, of February, 1996 at Kabalagala central zone - Makindye division. It was founded by professional teachers namely:  Mr.Busuulwa Felix, M/s Nakato Rose, Mr.Bazibu Micheal Kagawa and Rev.Fr.David Lwanga (late); may his soul rest in peace.  The next of kin of the late is Mr. Joseph Kiggundu.In January 2005, Rev. Fr. Eustachius Lwemalika joined the school as a share holder/director. 

Recent Developments

Building
The school main building has been completed, The school now has an examination hall that can accomodate up to 150 candidates at ago. 

Computers
25 more computers were purchased in addition to the 30 pieces making it 55 pieces in total.

Brain buster quiz
Tropical High school is the champion of champions in Kampala district Brain buster quiz for all secondary schools, The school was rewarded with two colour TV Sets and U shs 1,600,000 for winning the Brain Buster championship, The U shs 1,600,000 was shared equally by the two students who represented the school each taking home U shs 800,000.only.
