Tropical High School is one of the East and Central Africa's finest schools. Tropical High School was founded in 1996. It has adequate facilities for excellent teaching/learning, sports and games. It provides a conducive environment for moulding well-rounded characters.It is open to all individuals, regardless of nationality and religious affiliation or gender.

Tropical High School is a day – mixed private senior secondary school for both O` and A` level students. In addition to teaching the liberal Arts, all science subjects including Agriculture, and vocational subjects such as Computer education, Art and Design are taught. The school has both O` and A` level Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Center whose number is (U0965).The school is registered with the ministry of education and sports (MOE&S) under the registration number PSS/T/13.
